Scholarship Programs

Bacone College is committed to helping students earn a college degree. Because of this commitment, over 90% of Bacone students receive some form of financial aid, including scholarships, to help them meet the costs of a college education. Scholarships are available in all academic degree programs, student athletic programs, and through many extracurricular programs on campus (see the list below). Some of Bacone's scholarships are merit-based while many others are need-based. Please contact the appropriate office also identified below to obtain eligibility requirements for a particular scholarship. (Completion of the FAFSA is required)

Presidential Scholarship (Residency Required):
Merit based scholarship covering ¾ tuition. Must meet 2 of 3 criteria for initial eligibility. For more information, please contact the Office of Admissions at 918-781-7340 or visit http://archive.bacone.edu/admissions/

  1. A minimum ACT composite score of 23;

  2. A high school GPA of at least 3.50;

  3. High school standing within the top 15% of graduating class. (GPA Requirement to maintain scholarship:  3.25)

At the end of each academic year, students in this scholarship category must have maintained a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

TodayTix:

We’re looking for all arts-loving college students! TodayTix believes in supporting the next generation of the arts and wants to support the education of the stars of tomorrow. The winner of our annual scholarship will be selected based on the essay submission and meeting all of the requirements. The winner will be contacted by email and will be featured on our website.

In order for the students to participate in our scholarship contest, they must:

  • Must be majoring or minoring in theater, journalism, or English studies
  • Must have an average 2.5 GPA or equivalent grades
  • Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited university or college in the United States
  • Scholarship must be listed on your university’s or college’s website

Emergency Dentists USA:

At Emergency Dentists USA we know the value education. That's why in 2019 we're going to be offering an Annual dental themed video scholarship, with a full amount of USD $5000. It's open to students of all majors, college or high school. The application is a Video Submission, so have fun creating them! Deadline: July 1st 2019

All videos will be rated on a scale of 1-10 for these 4 characteristics:

  • Entertainment / Fun 30% weighted value
  • Innovative Idea / Presentation 30% weighted value
  • Idea Has Value to Dental Health 30% weighted value
  • Video Production Quality 10% weighted value
